A field says "confidential." What gives?

We allow hiring people to post jobs as confidential. Companies can be secretive about their positions so they don't get a flurry of internal interest. Recruiters might post as confidential so the company they are hiring for doesn't find out their recruiting methodologies. These are just a trite sampling of the reasons.

The bottom line is that you need not be bashful in applying to a confidential company. Remember, you can always change your privacy settings and confidentially (right back at them!) apply. They will initiate conversation with you via a secret email, and if you like how they look, you can respond. This puts you in complete control.
