We have immediate opportunities for Product Development Engineers,
Senior Product Development Engineers and Sustaining Engineers.

The engineers will be leading the design and development of medical implants and instruments.
Working independently on the design of projects; investigate interchangeability, replacement, cost factors and ease of manufacture.
Conceptualize ideas; understand inadequacy of existing designs; develop and propose several possible solutions to design problems and material selection; validate manufacturability, and use proper judgment when prototyping.
Create and provide design drawings for both surgeons and manufacturing through the development phase
Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components.
Maintain accurate records throughout the development process, comply with company and government standards, FDA requirements.
Drive the control process and follow procedures including government regulations relevant to product approvals.
Work with manufacturing throughout the development phase of product development in order to ensure that products are produced in a safe, efficacious and quality manner all the while keeping within established time lines.
Work with surgeons to develop new products and ideas concepts as market opportunities.

Job Requirements

The backgrounds of candidates which will be a great match for the roles have at least 2 years of industry experience with medical device products. If your experience is 4 to 5 and more years of industry experience we have Senior level positions as well.

Must have a Bachelors in Mechanical, Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering

Required experience:
GD&T and drawing standards
Project management
Proficient with CAD modeling, ProE preferred
Preferred experience with orthopedic/spine/implantables
