Business Performance Manager – Enterprise Performance Mgmt & Analytics

The Results Delivery Office (RDO) is an advisory arm of the company designed to help Amgen achieve its mission to serve patients. We work directly for and with senior leadership and their organizations at all levels to drive transformation and adapt to change. The RDO focuses on developing a rigorous and repeatable operating rhythm framework and execution system to ensure delivery of company-wide commitments and priorities including process simplification, enterprise-wide continuous improvement, advancing a culture of resilience and embracing change by using change management standard methodologies and data driven approach to transformation.

In this vital role you will drive improvement opportunities, develop approaches to improve productivity and implement comprehensive change strategies to transform the organization and enable it to adapt to business challenges. The position will have regular interaction with cross-functional capability leads and initiative teams to solve business problems and build and embed continuous improvement capabilities.

The Business Performance Manager will support the Results Delivery Office capabilities and execution of the enterprise priorities, including but not limited to the Sensing program. Sensing is an ambitious program with an objective to connect cross-functional insights to enable data transparency and improved information flow for senior executives. The successful candidate has an analytical mentality, go-do attitude, and excellent stakeholder management skills. This person is a strong teammate and a creative problem-solver.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Contribute to the development of key Sensing deliverables and presentation materials that facilitate decision making with senior leaders

+ Provide support for Sensing related to data analyses and voice-of-customer surveys, proposing solutions, and developing options for implementation

+ Maintain and coordinate activities between various teams that are focused on developing and surfacing business performance metrics

+ Manage internal customer-facing communication channels (e.g., Sensing SharePoint site, MS Teams channel, etc.)

+ Assist with stakeholder mapping and analysis and other activities to support Sensing change management strategy and execution

+ Design and execute, with guidance, working sessions/workshops with Sensing teams and relevant partners, including preparation and development of workshop objectives and materials

+ Support the Enterprise Performance Management & Analytics and Sensing teams in problem solving, ideating solutions, building cases and completing through implementation

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Master’s degree and 2 years of Scientific, Operations or Business experience

**Or**

+ Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Scientific, Operations or Business experience

**Or**

+ Associate’s degree and 10 years of Scientific, Operations or Business experience

**Or**

+ High school diploma / GED & 12 years of Scientific, Operations or Business experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical industry experience (preferred) or other sectors of healthcare industry

+ 3+ years of cross-functional consulting, project management, change management and/or transformation initiatives

+ Experience advising Leaders on strategy and resolution of complex business problems

+ Working knowledge of Miro, Smartsheet, and other collaboration/automation tools

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare effective presentations

+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break-down complex issues into manageable tasks

+ Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

+ Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptive to change
