**Summary**

The incumbent will be part of a service centre team aiming to provide an excellent level of support to internal and external customers. Duties will include equipment inspections, repair / upgrading of all incoming systems. The TSR will be called upon to perform QRM inspections as well suggest product reliability improvements. They should be able to work in a fast paced team environment and produce quality results. The incumbent will be responsible to meet the required production targets and quality compliance.

**Essential Duties**

+ Responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting all inbound equipment to component level.

+ Maintain and ensure certification of all test equipment as per company operating policies and procedures.

+ Test all incoming repairs to assure that results are within tolerance with respect to the manufactures required specifications.

+ Assist in quality assurance testing on equipment that has been repaired and is pending shipping.

+ Responsible for maintaining all service parts inventories that are required to perform repairs.

+ Perform CSA/UL inspections and testing as required to certify incoming repairs.

+ Able to prepare work estimates, contact customers and follow up on past due service work.

+ Developing and implementing innovative and cost-effective solutions to repairs on an ongoing basis.

+ Document and maintain all work-orders as they pertain to repairs using company-tracking systems.

+ Assist internal and external customers with technical inquire and parts issues.

+ Assist in other areas such as Quality or shipping as required

**Qualifications**

+ Technician Diploma or equivalent experience

+ Technologist, Engineering or BSc

+ 1 – 3 years Technical experience in a Service environment

+ Electronics, Mechanics, Mechatronics

+ Technical production experience

+ Experienced in repairing electro-mechanical equipment down to electronic and mechanical component level in a service center environment

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Analytical and problem solving skills

+ Must pass the 5-day training course with a minimum 80% passing grade
