Software Engineer II

Responsibilities:

In order to work effectively as a Software Engineer II, the position is expected to:

+ Will be responsible to work directly with Product owner to turn user stories into a working C#.Net production ready application using object oriented design patterns and practices to develop maintainable code.

+ Design and implement high quality and performance client software by leveraging a strong understanding of firmware protocols.

+ Will be working in a fast paced Agile scrum development environment.

+ Evaluate, review designs and test to determine if software will perform according to requirements and specifications.

+ Will be responsible to participate in code reviews and use case collaborations.

+ Collaborate with Quality engineers to guide the integration testing with other Omnicell applications.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

+ Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

+ Moderate SQL skills

+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills

+ Experience with 24/7 application development

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Collaborate with Quality engineers to guide the integration testing with other Omnicell applications.

Basic Requirements:

+ BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology

+ 3+ years of experiences in software design/development responsibilities

+ Experience in C# coding

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

+ Prior experience working in healthcare industry

+ Prior experience with remote monitoring tools

+ Full Software Development Life Cycle knowledge, including Agile development principals

+ Familiarity with Microsoft patterns and practices
