**Software Engineer III, Web Development**
Want to be part of the team that’s taking the healthcare industry by storm by engineering systems that have a significant impact on patient care, healthcare spend and population health management?
Omnicell is looking for an experienced Software Engineer that will be instrumental in designing and implementing a web application to interface with an existing on premise server, working directly with the Product Owner to produce required features and validate products with existing customers.
+ Work in an agile environment implementing complex software for specific requirements or applications within a medical device environment, following validated processes.
+ Understand the drivers and requirements of the business and translate those into technology solutions.
+ Create pixel-perfect UX as specified by UX designers.
+ Work with internal controls to build a reusable suite of web elements.
+ Create and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests and conduct root cause analysis (replicate, debug) for moderate to complex features.
+ Meet the definition of done and promote coding standards.
+ Work on business-critical products that operate with high reliability and are distributed nationwide to many clients.
**Required Knowledge & Skills:**
+ Understanding of industry best practices and processes associated with software development
+ Ability to mentor and coach less-experienced Software Engineers.
+ Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Working knowledge of Agile development.
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5 years’ of experience in software engineering
+ Experienced in web application development with the following:
+ AngularJS and/or Angular
+ C# and/or Java development
+ Master’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
+ Experience with the following:
+ Medical device software development
+ OpenID and cloud implementations
+ Office Environment
