**Finance Manager – Product Analytics and Insights**
**What you will do**
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be supporting the Finance Lead in Product Analytics and Insights group. This position can be onsite at our Thousand Oaks office, or remote!
+ Provide financial analysis and insights that will support product decisions across the TAG
+ Play a key role in the preparation of cohesive financial product support for Product Teams and TAGs strategies & governance decisions
+ Ensure product level analyses are consistent; builds financial line of sight across both internal commercialization and external business opportunities via a positive relationship with Alliance Management & Transaction Analysis Group
+ Drive budget clarity at the product level; memorializes within contract book
+ Deliver Global, cross-functional Product P&L’s and provides clarity on spend, variances, and strategic choices to CMZ (TAG head, PT’s GPM’s, PM leads), Functional/Country & Regional finance and BD
+ Provide support to external partnerships, including financial information exchanges as per their contractual and governance obligations
+ Is accountable for driving insightful, timely, and efficient product / Therapeutic Area Governance (TAG) level financial decision making and resource allocation
+ Partners with product / TAG leads and Global Product Managers (GPM), Commercialization & Strategy team (CMZ) members, Product Teams, Alliance Management Directors and Functional FP&A Directors / Sr. Managers to drive financial accountability and support product and TAG related prioritization, prioritization, and decision making
+ Is responsible for implementing and using standard financial measures to drive alignment of underlying financial assumptions (e.g. aligns financial assumptions with key non-financial metrics /assumptions)
+ Will drive objectivity and financial oversight at the product / TAG level to enable accurate resource allocation at the right altitude
+ Will drive alignment with Transaction Analysis Lead to ensure consistency in evaluation of internal and external investment opportunities

Master’s degree and 2 years of Finance experience
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Finance experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Finance experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Finance experience
+ Strong financial analysis skills, experience navigating Amgen’s financial planning process, and experience supporting cross-functional decision making
+ Knowledge of and experience with Amgen’s commercialization process
+ Excellent communication skills, problem solver, solution oriented
+ Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
+ Strong collaborator optimally navigates across matrix, experience in managing teams
+ Strong executive presence
