Through the Corporate Quality Project Management Office and in partnership with the businesses and company’s functions, the responsibilities for this position include:

+ The management of a Quality Data Analytics function ensuring structure, standards, processes, documentation and reporting is available to support the needs of the organization and emphasizes quality of data for decision making and timely project delivery.

+ Develop methodologies and solutions to support the proactive decision-making through predictive analytics and detection of signals, trends and patterns.

+ Production of regular monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and ad hoc reports, metrics and dashboards to support the business needs within a timely manner and to the highest degree of quality.

+ Design and deliver reports and dashboards that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics to support key business decisions.

+ Develop queries and reports using SQL and data visualizations in tools such as QlikView, Tableau, and Spotfire.

+ Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies for data analytics across large and disparate data sources using tools such as Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, Denodo, and NoSQL.

+ Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting by developing comprehensive policies and processes to control the use of Quality data.

+ Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.

+ Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.

+ Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within the department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.

+ Manages projects to ensure successful delivery of initiatives is completed on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of Project Sponsors and success criteria.

+ Track and report on operational and project portfolio performance, providing real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects and operational metrics.

+ Develop positive relationships with Project Sponsors, team members and internal stakeholders teams to enable the PMO to provide support including facilitation, delivery tracking and reporting.

+ Act as a reference point for PMO queries, metrics and information and an advocate for best practices in project management.



Required education/skills/experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree required. Computer Science, Programming/Application Development or Analytics discipline is preferred.

+ Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Medical device or Pharma industry.

+ Requires at least five (5) years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data, and someone with at least 3 years of experience leading a team.

+ Strong programming skills with querying languages: SQL, SAS, etc.

+ Strong experience with Reporting Tools such as Crystal Reports, SAP Hana, Splunk.

+ Experience with big data tools: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, Denodo, etc.

+ Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target.

+ Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, QlikView, Spotfire, chart.js, etc.

+ Python, C, C , JAVA, or other programming languages.

+ Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project.

+ Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data sources.

+ Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple data sources, tables and subqueries.

+ Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.

+ Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.

+ Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.

+ Experience gathering & tracking metrics, predicting quality trends, and reporting to provide consistent measuring, monitoring, and improvement of quality/performance.

+ Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (ETQ, TrackWise, Pilgrim SmartSolve, AssurX, etc) and processes is required.

+ Strong networking skills and ability to lead and influence others at all levels of the organization.

+ Results focus, process-oriented.

+ Strong communication & presentations skills, comfort presenting to senior level executives.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
