**A Day in the Life**

Are you a passionate, dedicated and motivated Shipper/Receiver that will thrive in a position that has the responsibility and authority to fill orders for manufacturing and receive incoming material?

As a Shipper/Receiver you will, responsible for the accurate receipt and distribution of incoming shipments and associated record keeping. Assists in transporting raw materials to production facilities using company owned or leased trucks. Responsible for the accurate movement/distribution of finished products and associated record keeping, communications and data entry.

The hours of this job are 6AM – 2:30 PM

_Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:_

Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Deliver individual packages from UPS and FedEx to the various drop-off points in the buildings.Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

Minimum of 2 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience (must have a high school diploma or GED). Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

**Nice to Have**

Associates degree

2+ years of warehouse experience

Experience in a Lean Supply Chain environment

Pallet Jack Fork Lift Certification

Experience with SAP

Must be able to drive standard shift box truck as well as maintain a valid driver’s license.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic functions and to check and count accurately

Ability to work under general supervision and from written or verbal instructions

Ability to keep precise written records.

Excellent organizational, judgment, interpersonal and customer service skills

Familiarity with use of PC’s and data entry programs.
