**Sr. Associate Scientist – Antibody Engineering & Display**

**What you will do**

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital **Sr. Associate Scientist** role, you will be a key member of the Protein Engineering group, and join the combinatorial engineering team to lead antibody engineering workflows for optimizing next-generation biologic therapeutics. The candidate will independently complete experiments to identify lead candidates with optimized properties. This role supports biologic therapeutic discovery and works closely with data scientists.

+ Design, construct, and screen yeast display antibody optimization libraries for antibody optimization to identify candidates with improved binding and biophysical properties.

+ Contribute to innovation and machine learning in antibody optimization libraries.

+ Maintain accurate and timely records, including electronic notebooks.

**Basic Qualifications**

+ Master’s degree in life sciences with 3 years of relevant lab experience OR

+ Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 5 years of relevant lab experience

+ Strong communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment are required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience in molecular cloning, laboratory display techniques (phage, yeast, or mammalian), and antibody engineering.

+ Familiarity with automation platforms or structural modeling programs such as: Pymol, MOE, or Schrodinger.

+ Experience in machine learning or advanced data analysis skills.
