**A Day in the Life**

As a Sr. Supply Chain Planner, you will lead complex projects and initiatives relating to Supply Chain Management with the intention of improving business performance and service.

You will:

+ Lead complex projects including optimization of production capacity, transfer of products between facilities, balancing global inventory network, improving global service levels, improving manufacturing/ supply chain efficiency.

+ Manage supply chain from forecast input through to goods being received in the Distribution Center

+ Ensure optimal net requirements signals are provided and communicated to manufacturing. Ensure multi- echelon system accuracy

+ Maintain appropriate DRP parameters.

+ Own supply chain service and inventory metrics. Leadership of regular cross-functional metric performance reviews.

+ Work with all levels of Corporate and Plant Management, Product Managers, Global Marketing Managers, Corporate and Plant Planners to identify and implement supply chain continuous improvement.

+ Carry out the planning of inventory in all locations and to match supply with demand.

+ Realize and drive the optimal balance between service (BO and Fill Rate) and inventory, while working to reduce Logistic costs.

+ Work with Demand Planning/Marketing to improve forecast variance and minimize slow and non-moving inventory.

+ Effectively plan and control the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to Customer Service, inventory levels/inventory weeks, and forecast variance.

+ Partner with the manufacturing plants, developing projections of inventory/ service recovery during periods of supply disruption.

+ Coordinate closely with and serve as the primary contact with Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service and develop relationships with Marketing.

+ Utilize lean principles and root cause/ corrective action methodology to drive continual improvement in processes leading to step function improvement in performance in Service/Inventory.

+ Support the development and continuous improvement of MITG SOP process.

+ Actively plan and support new business opportunities, new product introductions, integrations and transfers.

+ Work cross functionally with RD, Finance, Engineering and customer service on project teams

+ work closely with Demand planning/Marketing to understand business shifts and improve forecast accuracy.

+ Travel and visit both domestic and international plants up to 20%

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline plus relevant knowledge and 5-7 years of experience of working in a Supply Chain / Manufacturing environment.

+ Rigorous mathematics/analytics/statistical skills demonstrated through education or professional background

+ Proven ability to meet and maintain customer / business expectations and requirements.

+ Excellent statistical and mathematics skills

+ Software skills including MS Office (Access Excel focus)

+ Working knowledge of SAP, JDE and/or Manugistics

+ Excellent written and verbal communication

+ Demonstrated project management skills

+ Excellent analytical skills

+ Experience implementing/ utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma techniques a plus.

+ Knowledge of distribution planning, logistics, warehousing or transportation a plus.

+ Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience a plus.

+ APICS (CPIM) or ISM (CPM) certification
