**In this role, you have the opportunity to**
Join our integrated technology and services program, working closely with the System Architect and Software Architect to define and document the software designs, and deploy the software design within the software development team in agreement with the QMS
**You are responsible for** :
+ In close cooperation with the System Architect and Software Architect,
+ Define and document the software designs;
+ Deploy the software design within the software development team and guide and implement (hands-on) towards high quality code , unit tests & documentation.
+ In close cooperation with the project leader, derive the WBS and estimate the required effort to implement the software design and functionality;
+ In close cooperation with the Design-in manager and System tester, determine quality parameters for the final product (both software and documentation) and transfer the reference designs;
**To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience**
+ Extensive experience at Senior level as Software Designer/developer; 10 years minimum
+ Extensive experience with real time applications in embedded products;
+ Extensive experience with C/C++ programming and 8/16/32 bit processor cores like 8051 and ARM-Cortex;
+ Able to translate theoretical models (built in e.g. Matlab or Python) into embedded code with focus on limiting resources (RAM, ROM,MIPS & current, etc…);
+ Able to adapt their own quality standards to the requirements (mass production requires different attitude than proof of concept);
+ Highly communicative team player who can work independently;
+ Demonstrated ability to have an overall system view and take the technical lead in teams;
+ Hands-on mentality, able and willing to develop software;
+ Well developed sense of quality (product, documentation, process and software) ;
+ HBO(+) level education in a relevant technical domain;
+ Experience with IEC 62304 – medical device software – software life cycle processes
+ Experience with wearable devices and biophysical data processing, ppg, ecg and SC sensors;
+ Knowledge of USB/UART/SPI/I2C standards/protocols, RF standards/protocols (ZigBee, Bluetooth);
+ Experience with build servers & Git or comparable tooling;
+ Affinity with hardware development;
