**What You Will Achieve**
Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.
Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

**How You Will Achieve It**
**Knowledge**
Must have advanced knowledge of 80% of the following:
+ Excellent communications skills using English language.
+ Ability to read, write and develop preventative maintenance, calibration procedures, logbook entries, and work orders.
+ Perform IQ’s & OQ’s for validation protocols.
+ AC/DC electrical theory
+ Understanding of analog signals and process loops and the means of which to troubleshoot and simulate those signals.
+ Method of measurement (tool metrology) as pertains to calibration of process and facilities equipment. Electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, load centers, breakers, bus ducts, motor control centers (MCC’s) and lighting distribution.
+ Mechanical components including variable speed drives, gearboxes, gears, bearing chains, couplings, pumps, and mechanical seals.
+ Fluid power components including hydraulic components (pumps, cylinders, etc.) pneumatic components (cylinders, air compressors, etc.) and general components (lines, valves, etc.).Mathematical calculations as related to problem solving & troubleshooting the preceding components.
+ Must have accomplished knowledge in 3 of the following areas with concentrated knowledge in 1:
+ Water treatment technology as it pertains to chilled water systems, boiler feedwater systems and ultra-pure water systems (WFI, DI, RO)
+ Electrical control systems

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine breakdowns in a prompt, skillful manner.

+ Instruct other technicians in the intricacies of assigned machinery & equipment.
+ Instruct the machine/process operators in operation of machinery.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of production and/or facility equipment without supervision.
+ Provide supervision to lower-level technicians in instruction of job activities.

+ Deal effectively with all levels of employees
+ Show initiative & dependability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Demonstrate ability to analyze equipment/ process problems and to implement resolutions.
+ Proficiency in implementation of maintenance for equipment / process improvements.
+ Integration of project implementation with production personnel and management to include multi⢠level buy-in and efficient scheduling.
+ Set priorities.
+ Organize other technician’s workloads.
+ Delegate and assign responsibility to lower-level technicians while acting as a peer, role-model, and a leader.
+ Must be fit tested, maintain physical conditions and be able to wear proper – PPE/Environmental gowning as required.
+ Must be able to work overtime as required including Holidays.
+ Must be able to work any shift (day, swing, graveyard or split) as work staggered workweek, as required.
+ Must be available for On-Call work as needed.
+ **Qualifications** **Must-Have**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 4+ years of experience
+ Certification in assigned area, if applicable
+ Course work {or equivalent experience} in the general or specific areas of electromechanical technology
+ Knowledge of basic mathematics
+ Knowledge of the general trades, that is, construction, electrical, machine shop
+ Possess skill to understand and execute simple to complex maintenance task for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems
+ Computer skills, good written and verbal English communication skills
+ **Nice-to-Have**
+ NL T 2 years’ experience with an AS Tech Degree or certificate program or no experience with bachelor’s degree.
+ Pharmaceutical and/or Bio-Pharmaceutical experience and knowledge of {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} operations
**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**
Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis.
