The Warehouse Specialist for Leica Biosystems is responsible to receive incoming materials from vendors, will be responsible for verifying Purchase Orders for parts, tracking and processing returns, assist with shipping responsibilities as needed and will champion the creation of efficient parts storage and inventory accuracy in our warehouse. The role requires a balance of strong work ethic, ERP knowledge and the ability to work with cross functional teams.

This position is part of the Production Operations department located in Vista, California and will be onsite. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Perform all tasks associated with the receipt and put away of materials, supplies and products including inspections of incoming materials assure conformance to written specifications

+ Material handling, preparation, and kitting to support manufacturing schedule

+ Track and process returns

+ Perform shipping duties as needed

+ General warehouse duties as needed

The essential requirements of the job include

+ 1 + years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment with experience performing material transactions with a high attention to detail

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ General computer skills, with experience using MS Excel

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ ERP System experience, SAP preferred and knowledge and understanding of inventory count programs and schedules

+ Experience with operating a forklift or comfortable learning

+ Excellent written and verbal skills – the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers

The hourly range for this role is $18 – 23. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
