MedDeviceJobs.com Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026
Last updated: September 2, 2026

MedDeviceJobs.com (“MedDeviceJobs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a trade name (DBA) operated by Front Sight Agency LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you visit MedDeviceJobs.com, create or use an account, search or apply for jobs, create an employer account, purchase services, communicate with us, or otherwise use our websites, tools, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed through the Services by Front Sight Agency LLC, doing business as MedDeviceJobs.com.

It does not govern the independent privacy practices of employers, recruiters, external applicant-tracking systems, payment processors, or other third parties. When you leave MedDeviceJobs.com or provide information directly to another organization, that organization’s privacy policy applies.

2. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services.

A. Information you provide directly

We may collect:

  • Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, username, password or authentication information, and communication preferences.
  • Candidate profile and professional information, such as your resume, employment history, education, skills, certifications, licenses, professional interests, desired roles, salary preferences, location, willingness to relocate, and other information you include in your account, profile, resume, cover letter, application, or communications.
  • Job-search and application information, such as saved jobs, application history, application status, interview or follow-up information, notes, contacts, and materials submitted with an application.
  • Employer and recruiter information, such as your name, work email address, company, job title, telephone number, account credentials, job postings, recruiting criteria, candidate searches, communications, and subscription information.
  • Transaction and billing information, such as billing address, subscription status, purchased services, payment amount, payment date, and transaction identifiers. Payment-card information is processed by Stripe. We may be able to view limited payment details maintained through Stripe, but we do not receive or store the complete card number.
  • Communications, including information you submit through contact forms, support requests, feedback, surveys, or email correspondence.
  • Job alerts and marketing preferences, including search criteria, preferred locations, job categories, email address, and subscription choices.

Please do not place sensitive personal information in a resume, profile, application, or message unless it is necessary and you intend to disclose it. Examples include Social Security or national identification numbers, financial-account credentials, medical information, or information about protected personal characteristics.

B. Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our technology providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;
  • browser type, device type, operating system, language, and device identifiers;
  • pages viewed, links clicked, referring and exit pages, searches, session activity, timestamps, and interactions with the Services;
  • cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar online identifiers; and
  • diagnostic, performance, security, fraud-prevention, and error information.

We collect some of this information through cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, log files, and similar technologies.

C. Information from other sources

We may receive information from:

  • Careerleaf, which provides job-board, account, recruiting, candidate-management, and related platform technology;
  • employers and recruiters that use the Services;
  • Stripe and other transaction-service providers;
  • Google and Meta services used for analytics, security, measurement, or advertising;
  • publicly available employer career pages and applicant-tracking systems when jobs are imported, synchronized, or linked through our automatic job-posting services; and
  • referrals, business partners, and other users when permitted by law.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;
  • create, authenticate, administer, and secure accounts;
  • display and distribute job postings;
  • allow candidates to create profiles, upload resumes, manage job-search activity, receive job alerts, and apply for jobs;
  • make candidate profiles and resumes available to employers and recruiters as described below;
  • allow employers and recruiters to search for candidates, review applications, manage recruiting activity, and contact potential candidates;
  • process subscriptions, purchases, renewals, billing, and account administration;
  • communicate about accounts, applications, subscriptions, support requests, security, changes to the Services, and policy updates;
  • send job alerts, newsletters, promotional communications, or other messages in accordance with your choices and applicable law;
  • understand usage, measure performance, conduct analytics, troubleshoot problems, and develop new features;
  • measure and improve advertising and outreach;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, unlawful activity, and violations of our terms;
  • comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements; and
  • protect the rights, property, safety, and integrity of MedDeviceJobs, our users, employers, candidates, and others.

We may aggregate or de-identify information so that it no longer reasonably identifies an individual. We may use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information for lawful purposes and will not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law.

4. Candidate Profiles, Resumes, and Employer Access

MedDeviceJobs is designed to connect medical-device professionals with employers and recruiters. When you create a candidate account or profile or upload a resume, the professional information you provide may automatically become searchable or accessible to employers, recruiters, and hiring professionals with access to the MedDeviceJobs candidate database. This is a core feature of the candidate service and may occur even if you have not applied to a particular employer.

Information available to these users may include your name, contact information, general location, resume, employment history, education, skills, certifications, job preferences, and other professional information you provide. Employers and recruiters may use this information to evaluate your potential fit for employment opportunities and to contact you.

MedDeviceJobs does not currently offer a setting that allows a candidate to keep an active account while completely preventing employer or recruiter access to the candidate profile. If you do not want your profile or resume available through the candidate database, you must request deletion of your account by contacting us as described in Section 18. Removing your account from our active systems does not require an employer or recruiter that previously accessed, downloaded, or received your information to delete its independent copy.

Employers and recruiters are independent organizations. We do not control and are not responsible for their hiring decisions or their subsequent use, retention, disclosure, or security of information they obtain. Review the identity and privacy practices of an employer or recruiter before giving it additional information. Do not include information in your profile or resume that you do not want disclosed for recruiting purposes.

We do not guarantee that a profile, resume, or application will result in contact, an interview, an offer, or employment.

5. Job Applications and External Employers

Some applications may be submitted through MedDeviceJobs and stored or processed through the Careerleaf-powered platform. Other job listings direct you to an employer’s website, applicant-tracking system, email address, or another third-party service.

When you submit an application through MedDeviceJobs, we may disclose the application and related information to the employer, recruiter, or hiring organization responsible for the position. Once that organization receives the information, it may process the information for its own purposes under its own privacy practices.

When you apply on an external website or communicate directly with an employer, the external organization’s privacy policy—not this Privacy Policy—governs that interaction. MedDeviceJobs does not control the accuracy, availability, security, or privacy practices of external job listings, employers, recruiters, or application systems.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Employers, recruiters, and hiring professionals. We disclose candidate profiles, resumes, applications, and related information to facilitate recruiting and employment opportunities.
  • Service providers and platform vendors. These include Careerleaf for job-board and recruiting-platform technology; Stripe for payment and subscription processing; Google for services that may include analytics, site functionality, and security; Meta for advertising, measurement, and related services; website hosting, content-delivery, error-monitoring, security, email, and support providers; and professional advisers.
  • Third parties you direct us to contact or authorize. This includes an employer or external application system you choose to use.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or government request; necessary to enforce agreements or investigate violations; or appropriate to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of MedDeviceJobs, our users, or others.
  • Parties to a business transaction. Information may be disclosed in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where applicable.
  • Affiliates and advisers. We may disclose information to affiliated entities and to attorneys, accountants, insurers, consultants, and other professional advisers when reasonably necessary.

We do not sell or rent email or candidate lists to unrelated third parties for their own general marketing. However, employers and recruiters may pay for access to MedDeviceJobs recruiting services, which can include access to candidate profiles and resumes. Certain privacy laws may define a “sale” or “sharing” more broadly than an exchange of information for money. Online advertising or measurement activities involving Meta, Google, or similar providers may also be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some laws. Where applicable, you may exercise an opt-out right as described in Sections 8 and 13.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our vendors, including Careerleaf, Google, and Meta, may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and similar technologies for:

  • Strictly necessary purposes, such as authentication, account access, security, fraud prevention, network management, and essential site functions;
  • Preferences and functionality, such as remembering settings and improving usability;
  • Analytics and performance, such as understanding traffic, usage, errors, and site performance; and
  • Advertising and measurement, such as measuring outreach or advertising performance and, where enabled, helping deliver or evaluate relevant advertising.

You may be able to control cookies through our cookie-consent tool and your browser or device settings. Blocking some technologies may affect site functionality. Where applicable law requires consent, we intend to use nonessential analytics and advertising technologies only after obtaining the required consent.

For more detail, including the technologies currently in use and their duration, please review the cookie preferences or cookie notice made available on the website. You can revisit your choices through the “Cookie Settings” link when available.

Browser settings that send a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, may communicate a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Where legally required, we will process supported signals as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending the signal.

8. Your Choices

Account information

You may update certain account or profile information through available account settings. To delete a candidate account and remove its profile from active employer search, contact us using the information in Section 18.

Email communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails and job alerts using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to administer an account, transaction, application, subscription, security matter, or request.

Cookies and targeted advertising

Where available, use our cookie-consent tool to reject or manage nonessential cookies. You may also use browser controls and supported opt-out preference signals. Cookie controls are browser- and device-specific, so you may need to repeat your selection on other browsers or devices.

Employer access to candidate information

Because employer access is a core feature of a candidate account, the current method to end future access through MedDeviceJobs is to request deletion of the account. This will not retrieve information already obtained independently by an employer or recruiter.

9. Payments

Employer purchases and recurring subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores payment credentials and related transaction information under its own privacy policy and terms. MedDeviceJobs stores or has access to billing information and payment records needed to administer the account, including billing address and information available through the Stripe merchant interface. Although we may be able to access limited card details through Stripe, we do not have access to or store the complete payment-card number.

Stripe’s privacy information is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

10. Salary Calculator and Similar Tools

The MedDeviceJobs salary calculator is designed to run within your browser. The answers you enter into the calculator and the compensation estimate it produces are not saved to your MedDeviceJobs account or intentionally transmitted to MedDeviceJobs for storage. Ordinary website technologies may still process general usage information, such as the fact that the calculator page was visited or interacted with, device and browser information, and related analytics events. Do not enter information that directly identifies you into calculator fields unless a field specifically requests it.

Compensation estimates and related methodology are informational and are subject to the separate disclaimers in our Terms and Conditions and Methodology and Sources page.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • maintain and provide an account or subscription;
  • facilitate recruiting and job applications;
  • complete transactions and maintain business and tax records;
  • comply with legal, accounting, reporting, and contractual obligations;
  • prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the relationship, applicable legal requirements, and operational needs. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it. Information may remain temporarily in backups, archives, security logs, or records that must be retained by law. Employers, recruiters, Stripe, Careerleaf, and other third parties may apply their own retention periods to information they process.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission, system, or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for using a strong, unique password, maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials, and notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Email is not always secure; do not send highly sensitive information by ordinary email.

13. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of personal information we maintain about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • request restriction of or object to certain processing;
  • request portability of certain information;
  • opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • appeal a decision concerning a privacy request, where applicable; and
  • lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

You will not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a request, email sam@meddevicejobs.com with the subject line Privacy Request. Please state the right you wish to exercise and identify the account or email address involved. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. We will use verification information only to evaluate and fulfill the request. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may require evidence of the agent’s authority and, where permitted, confirmation from the individual.

Some information may be exempt from a request, including information we must retain to complete a transaction, comply with law, protect security, exercise legal rights, or preserve another person’s rights. If we deny a request in whole or in part, we will provide an explanation when required.

California and other U.S. state rights

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights concerning categories and specific pieces of personal information, correction, deletion, data portability, targeted advertising, and certain sales or sharing.

For the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information we may have collected correspond to those described in Section 2, including identifiers; customer-record information; commercial information; internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; professional or employment-related information; education information; account credentials; and inferences based on job interests or activity. We collect these categories from the sources described in Section 2, use them for the purposes in Section 3, and disclose them to the recipient categories in Section 6.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. To request an opt-out of activity that applicable law treats as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, email sam@meddevicejobs.com with the subject line Opt-Out Request, use our cookie settings when available, or enable a supported opt-out preference signal. If your request concerns candidate-database access, fulfilling it may require deletion of the candidate account because we do not currently offer a profile-hidden account state.

EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and similar jurisdictions

Where European or similar data-protection law applies, Front Sight Agency LLC, doing business as MedDeviceJobs.com, generally acts as the controller of personal information processed for our own purposes.

Depending on the processing activity, our legal bases may include:

  • Contract, when processing is necessary to create and administer an account, provide requested recruiting or job-search functionality, process a purchase, or otherwise deliver the Services;
  • Legitimate interests, such as operating and improving the Services, facilitating recruiting, communicating with users, securing the platform, preventing fraud, measuring performance, and protecting legal rights, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Consent, including for certain cookies, advertising technologies, and marketing communications where consent is required; and
  • Legal obligation, when processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing performed before withdrawal. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work or where you believe a violation occurred.

14. International Data Transfers

MedDeviceJobs is operated from the United States. If you use the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, we and our providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or other approved transfer mechanisms. You may contact us for additional information about safeguards applicable to your information.

15. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to employers, applicant-tracking systems, social networks, publications, and other third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Review the privacy notice of each third party before submitting personal information.

Key provider privacy information includes:

These links are provided for convenience; each provider may change its practices and policy independently.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Services, practices, vendors, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice as required by law, such as by email or an account notice.
