The Senior Accounting Manager, Record to Report, USCAN ​is responsible for overseeing operational accounting and reporting associated with Cytiva’s US operations. This role will focus on developing, simplifying, and enhancing accounting processes. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the US Controllership Team, Close & Reporting Controller, Cytiva Centers of Excellence (COEs), Treasury, Tax, IT, and other finance teams to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.

This position reports to the US Record to Report Leader and is part of the US Controllership Team located in Budapest and will be an on-site role.

What you’ll do:

+ Lead the monthly and quarterly close & reporting process, including owning the preparation of balance sheet reporting, monthly account reconciliation and supplemental data requests

+ Support finance integration efforts such as bank account changes, ERP implementation, entity merger and shared services transfers

+ Overseeing of Compliance and Reporting related to SOX, GAAP Audits and overall adherence to Cytiva Accounting Policy

+ Driving financial integrity while completing consistent and effective policies and procedures

+ Collaborating closely with teams in DHR businesses to exchange on operational improvement opportunities

Who you are:

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with significant accounting and finance experience or CPA / CA, along with experience working in a global business environment with strong understanding of global process and transactional flows

+ Showed strength in US GAAP and accounting literature (i.e. FASB pronouncements)

+ Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma, along with strong analytical and problem solver skills

+ Proficient skills in Project Management and strong Excel skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
