The Large Scale Production Team Leader for Cytiva is responsible for leading the production team.This position is part of the Chemistry and Biology department located in Cardiff and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
+ Be accountable for the manufacture of products manufactured in the large scale manufacturing area. Use the Danaher Business System tools to meet the core value driver targets for the area including safety, quality, delivery and cost.
+ Lead a team of approx. 8 operators to ensure on-time delivery of quality products. Be responsible for recruiting, training, coaching and developing associates within the team to ensure they meet learning objectives.
+ Investigate and document quality issues in the Veeva system and implement CAPAs to prevent recurrence.
Who you are:
+ Someone with several years of manufacturing experience. Ability to be flexible and to apply troubleshooting techniques to solve manufacturing issues as they arise.
+ Someone with proven experience of supervising or leading a team.
+ Desirable – working knowledge of ERP systems & Quality deviation tracking systems such as Veeva and Oracle, experience in Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement activities.
