The Supervisor Transportation/Logistics (f/m/d) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is leading a team of logistics specialists. In this position you will be responsible for aligning transportation and distribution plans with supply chain forecasts and material availability. This includes optimizing logistics planning parameters within our ERP/TMS systems to ensure efficient material flow and timely product delivery. This position is located on-site in Baierbrunn (Munich).
Key Tasks:
+ Supervise, train, and develop a team of logistics specialists to ensure efficient operations.
+ Optimize transportation modes, and carrier relationships to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
+ Oversee shipment scheduling, tracking, and resolution of any transportation issues.
+ Ensure strict compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations, including customs and hazardous materials.
+ Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and implement new efficiencies.
Key Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in transportation/logistics, including min. 2 years in a supervisory role.
+ Proven proficiency with logistics software (TMS, WMS) and ERP systems.
+ Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills including ability to coach, develop and mentor team.
+ In-depth knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
+ Fluent in German and English
