The Executive for Regional President plays a vital role in supporting comprehensive administrative and operational support to multiple senior leaders within the organization. This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, attention to detail, consistently and actively take initiatives to take the lead on actions that will benefit the business, even when not explicitly requested, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
This position reports to the President – High Growth Markets (HGM) Southeast Asia & ANZ and is part of the High Growth Markets team located in Tukang Innovation Drive (Leica Microsystems), but may also be required to work at other Danaher office locations in Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Executive Support & Coordination: Manage complex calendar scheduling across time zones, proactively resolving conflicts; organize meetings including logistics (room booking, catering, agenda prep, minutes, action tracking, follow-ups); act as liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders; support external communications with agencies and customers as guided by the President.
+ Travel, Expense & Administrative Management: Coordinate travel arrangements (itineraries, accommodations, transport) primarily for the President and occasionally for staff; manage monthly expense reporting with accuracy and timeliness; provide administrative support including file and SharePoint maintenance, vendor creation, payment facilitation, and preparation of presentations and reports; perform basic to intermediate Excel data processing in collaboration with the President.
+ Event & Center Operations: Assist in planning and coordinating team events, offsites, executive visits, and strategic sessions; serve as primary contact for Singapore Customer Vision Center logistics—scheduling customer visits, training, and upkeep—in close communication with Opco leaders.
+ Support the President with external communications to key agencies and customers as related and guided by the President (eg but not limited to: updates and information with Key Customers for scheduling meetings, updates to company information and article, etc)
+ Demonstrate resourcefulness with proven ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple priorities with tight timelines, and take initiative.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ Education & Experience: Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years of experience as an executive assistant supporting multiple leaders simultaneously.
+ Core Competencies & Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; flexibility to work across time zones; exceptional organizational and time management abilities; high professionalism and confidentiality; consistent multitasking and adaptability to shifting priorities; proactive engagement with leaders and teams; prior experience in a global organization.
+ Technical & Language Requirements: Proficiency in English (a second language is an advantage); skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams), and expense management systems (Concur, SAP).
+ Demonstrated strong self-starter, pro-active and self-motivated while having the flexibility to build relationships while handling change and solving problems calmly and professionally in a team environment.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ Ability to travel – 10 % travel, within SEA region
