IT Support Technician (m/f/d)
Strengthen our motivated team!
You’ll work closely with a dedicated IT team that supports Leica Microsystems & Leica Biosystems across EMEA. We believe in teamwork (“Best Team Wins”) and continuous improvement through modern methods and active customer feedback.
Your Responsibilities:
+ IT Support (1st/2nd Level): Handle incidents and service requests reliably and professionally – delivering outstanding customer service.
+ Onboarding and Offboarding: Support new hires, manage hardware, and administer users & groups in Active Directory.
+ IT Procurement: Ensure our team is well-equipped while keeping costs under control.
Additional Tasks:
+ Forward tickets according to guidelines
+ Assist with company mobile phones and telephone systems
+ Perform basic network diagnostics and troubleshooting
+ Support network security and compliance topics
+ Maintain and create knowledge base articles
+ Conduct end-user training when needed
Your Profile:
+ Excellent communication skills in German and English
+ Initial hands-on experience in IT support, e.g., through internships, training, or part-time jobs
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Office 365
+ Completed IT training, ongoing computer science studies, or equivalent knowledge
