The Intern is responsible for executing preparatory tasks and fundamental manufacturing activities to support the production of raw materials or finished products. This role also contributes to general laboratory upkeep and ensures smooth daily operations within the assigned value stream. This role plays a key part in maintaining alignment with operational goals and supporting the department’s overall efficiency and quality standards.

This position reports to the Value Stream Supervisor and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Prepare sample runs for quality control, operate and maintain quality control analytical instruments to support accurate and efficient testing processes

+ Perform cleaning of sample plates and waste handling to support contamination controls

+ Create detailed quality control activities to support time study

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ NITEC / Diploma in chemical processing / science related field or an equivalent combination of education & experience required.

+ Must be comfortable working with chemicals and follow proper safety and handling instructions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Good to have a basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
