As a Lead Labeling Systems Administrator you will be part of a newly established Labeling team in Radiometer Bangalore, together with eight other colleagues. You will report directly to the local Labeling Manager. The Labeling team in Bangalore is part of Radiometer’s Global Labeling team, located in Denmark and Poland.You and a colleague will be responsible for, among other things, ensuring the smooth operation of various labeling management systems used by the Global Labeling teams, acting as the liaison between users and suppliers (incl. creating and managing support tickets), leading, supporting, and validating system updates, assisting with the creation and maintenance of XSL stylesheets, ensuring all users have the appropriate access rights and licenses, as well as helping coordinate translations during peak periods.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Work in a Global Labeling team – both independently and in collaboration with team to achieve overall on-time delivery goals
+ Collaborate closely with, among others, the Technical Writers and Translation Coordinators in Technical Publications (a part of the Global Labeling team)
+ Help shape the way Radiometer manages and presents Instructions for Use (IFU) content
+ Showcase your skills for solving complex challenges effectively
The requirements of the job include:
+ Master’s degree in science, engineering or similar
+ Multiple years of experience working with a component content management system based on the DITA standard, preferably in a regulated industry
+ Experience with DITA-OT and XSL stylesheet creation and maintenance
+ Experience working together with a third-party software vendor on the delivery and support of complex enterprise-level systems
+ Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
For introduction and training, travel to Poland/Denmark for 2-4 weeks can be expected. After that, occasional travel (maximum 1-2 times a year) may be expected.
It would be a plus if you also have previous experience:
+ Working with a label management system and a translation management system
+ Validating software
+ Coordinating translations
+ Working in an international/global team
+ With content strategy/information architecture, preferably as an active contributor
