**Role Summary**
Amgen is seeking a transformational leader to drive and scale its Global Commercial Capabilities (GCC) delivery model from India. As a key executive within the GCC leadership team, this role will lead commercial operations, develop high-impact talent, and enable technology-forward solutions aligned with Amgen’s long-range strategy. With direct influence over global capability delivery, automation, and innovation, this leader will play a central role in shaping the future of how Amgen’s commercial teams deliver for patients.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Tech That Transforms
+ Lead the integration of new technologies, AI, and automation into commercial operations to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability.
+ Partner with global capability leaders to embed innovation into core business functions and accelerate delivery impact.
+ Identify emerging technologies and lead pilots that unlock new commercial capabilities.
2. Scaling Talent & Expertise Globally
+ Build and scale a high-performing cross-functional team at AIN, integrating global talent and expertise.
+ Drive a culture of continuous learning, upskilling, and digital fluency to support long-term enterprise transformation.
+ Serve as the executive sponsor for AIN talent strategy and succession planning, partnering with global HR and business leaders.
3. Work Reimagined
+ Lead initiatives that streamline commercial operations, reduce complexity, and increase agility across global teams.
+ Bridge time zones, geographies, and functions to deliver a truly integrated, always-on global commercial services model.
+ Serve as a transformation agent, redesigning operating models to better enable bold innovation and faster execution.
**Additional Leadership Responsibilities**
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership in the U.S. and globally on offshore strategy and capability expansion.
+ Oversee budget and financial governance for offshore operations, ensuring efficiency and optimal vendor value.
+ Collaborate with global stakeholders to prioritize capability development and operational excellence initiatives.
+ Maintain strategic relationships with key external partners and serve as a liaison to industry and peer networks.
+ Inspire as the Leader of Leaders of Amgen’s growing Amgen Innovation Center Global Customer Capabilities team.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years in commercial operations, digital transformation, or related fields.
+ 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional, multi-country teams or offshore delivery centers.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in the biopharma or life sciences industry.
+ Deep understanding of digital transformation, automation, and workforce strategy.
+ Proven record of leading large-scale change initiatives across global teams.
+ Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and align execution to enterprise vision.
