As a Technician I you are responsible for driving meaningful organizational impact by ensuring accurate production flow decisions, precise material preparation, and documentation practices that uphold quality and compliance standards. Your work strengthens operational efficiency through effective equipment use and cleaning, inventory control, while consistently prioritizing work aligned with departmental goals.

Your role reports to the Supervisor, is part of the Fast Turn Blocks and Clonal Products Value Stream located in Coralville, and all work is performed on-site. Shift schedule : Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Accurately use aids and work instructions to make decisions about proper production flow based on product type or services.

+ Use a variety of lab equipment to process products including maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

+ Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and Maintenance Connection software

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ High School diploma, GED or equivalent

+ Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Ability Exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10-15 lbs. of force frequently

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ An associate degree

+ Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
