**PositionOverview:**

We seek to hire Rail Technicians to
work on the heavy repair & overhaul team.
Working on heavy repairs on large components to overhauling train
equipment ranging from bogies, engines to toilets. Hours are 1st shift – 7am to
3.30pm (including weekdays, weekends and holidays). Your workplace will be in
Orlando, FL. Flexibility to occasionally work at the West Palm Beach, FL
maintenance facility is encouraged.

**Whatyour day-to-day will look like:**

+ Performheavy repairs on Charger locomotives and Venture coaches.This could include repairs on the QSK95engine, body work damaged after strikes such as windshields and repairs tounder-frame equipment, bogies and under-frame equipment.

+ Performlarge component removal for overhaul off train, such as Bogies, Cooling towers,compressors etc.

+ Performoff trainsets component overhaul following the Component overhaul instructions.

+ Followall maintenance instructions (wherever available) to enforce and maintaincompliance and high-quality standards.

+ Responsiblefor keeping workstation and work areas clean and free of debris at all times.

+ Otherfunctions as needed, including forklift operations, daily cleaning operations,and others as needed

+ Developa working relationship with the Customer as an employee and representative ofSiemens Mobility.

+ Verifythat all defects, tasks, and incidents have been reported and detailed in(CMMS) for compliance, issue tracking, and closure.

+ Maintaincompliance to all Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) related safety rules,laws, and regulations.

+ Collaborate with the leadership as needed onall site issues, systems, and related facility operations.

**Tothrive in this role, you have:**

+ HighSchool Diploma/GED.

+ Minimumof 3 years of working experience with a railroad or other technical field.

+ Previousheavy repair / overhaul experience.

+ Settingyou apart from others would be a technical degree with detailed knowledge of thetechnical aspects of rolling stock/depot and experience with FRA.Experience with engines, electrical,pneumatic and hydraulic systems as well as auto body repair and welding,including certifications would be a huge plus.
