The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the overall plant production and coordinates activities of associates involved in producing products through the Production Supervisors according to quantity targets and product specifications.

This position reports to the Plant Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team located in Tijuana, Baja California, México and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

· Fully responsible for the safety of Manufacturing Engineer, Production Supervisors and Maintenance

· Fully responsible for the safety of the human resources working inside the manufacturing areas

· Determine, control and change as needed the sequence of the production schedule in combination with the planning and engineering teams to maximize efficiency

· Understanding of backorder, customer service level, OEE, equipment capacity and availability, uptime and downtime, materials and labor constraints

· Assists in the development and improvement of our quality system procedures and responsible for procedure compliance

· Responsible for the cleanliness and order of the shop floor areas and personnel inside

· Select, train, and review the performance of all the delegated employees

The essential requirements of the job include

· Professional Industrial Production Engineering title or Similar.

· Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Production Manager or manufacturing process

· Seasoned in ISO-13485, FDA standards and regulations

· Lean, 6S or L6S certification achieved or in process

· Process, manufacturing engineering experience, NPI, V&V exposure desirable

· Financial acumen, estimation and control of P&L, budgets, variances

· Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

· Travel Requirements: Availability to travel 10%; both domestic and international travel may be required.

· Typical work-related travel assignments range 2-5 days, and as such overnight, out-of-town stays are required.

· Work environment: Typical office environment and Class 8 clean rooms.

· Physical stress required: Visual and Manual.

· Visa

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· Six sigma certifications (Black Belt)

· MBA master’s degree
