The Senior Chemical Compliance Specialist ensures that Beckman Coulter products, processes, and documentation adhere to local, national, and international regulations for the safe handling, safety, and disposal

This position reports to the Director of Global Compliance and Regulatory Affairs and is part of the Global Chemical Compliance Department and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Develop and implement strategies for compliance with worldwide chemical regulations

+ Work across Beckman Coulter sites to aid in compliance.

+ Generate worldwide SDSs

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a related field; and 5+ years of related experience

+ Monitor, interpret, and implement global chemical regulations, such as REACH, CLP/GHS, TSCA, EU Biocidal Products Regulation, RoHS, Hazardous Materials regulations, and applicable country‑specific chemical control laws.

+ Assess impacts of emerging regulations on existing products, raw materials, and business operations.

+ Develop compliance strategies and guide internal teams in risk mitigation and regulatory planning.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Ability to periodically travel to the US (minimum once a year)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ UL WERCS

+ Oracle Business Systems

+ Prior experience with in-vitro diagnostic devices or other regulated industries
