**Position Overview:**
As a Warehouse Operations Technician, you will support a
broad range of activities in a dynamic, high energy warehouse environment
providing all material to production departments for manufacturing the best
rail vehicles in the world. This role focusing on the receiving, put away,
picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production. Additionally, the role
may focus on the interaction with the MRP system for accurately tracking the
material movements.
**Shift:** Monday – Thursday, 5:30am – 4:00pm
**What your day-to-day will look like:**
+ Follow all safety requirements, including use of allrequired personal protective equipment (PPE). Contribute to and maintainconditions that ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
+ Specific area or responsibility may include receiving,put away, picking, kitting, or delivery of material to production.
+ Ensure transactional accuracy for all materialmovements – i.e. ensure the correct quantity of material is moved to thespecified location, and MRP system transactions are completed correctly.
+ Ensure all material is properly identified withappropriate labels and part numbers.
+ Carefully handle material to prevent any damage duringhandling in the warehouse or delivery to production.
+ Immediately notify supervisor of any quality ordelivery issues
+ Use of powered industrial vehicles in the movement ofmaterial. Certification for use of some tools and equipment may berequired, such as crane, forklift, order picker, scissor lift, and fallprotection equipment.
+ Meet production schedule for material delivery toproduction.
+ Explain warehouse procedures and processes to fellowworkers.
**To thrive in this role, you have:**
+ High school education or GED
+ 2 years previous experience in a warehouse ormanufacturing environment
+ Basic English skills – ability to read and understandwritten instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
**We would be impressed if you have:**
+ Previous warehouse experiencein a manufacturing environment.
+ Previous Powered IndustrialVehicle certification

depending on the budget and the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and
qualifications.
