**We are looking for an Accounting Professional (Accounts Payable).** This position will support accurate, compliant, and efficient Accounts Payable operations while partnering closely with Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and external vendors.
In this role, you will ensure timely invoice processing, accurate journal entries, vendor master data integrity, and strong support of month‑end close activities. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Procure‑to‑Pay processes, controls, and reporting.
**You’ll make a difference by:**
**Month‑End Close & Journal Entries**
+ Analyzing accounts payable reports and preparing month‑end manual journal entries.
+ Tracking bulk vendor consumption and costs to support accruals, reserves, and true‑up adjustments.
+ Supporting accurate and timely period‑end close activities.
**Procure‑to‑Pay Execution**
+ Creating purchase requisitions in alignment with spend policies and approval requirements.
+ Processing and clearing invoices while resolving purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice discrepancies.
+ Supporting down payment processing, tracking, and proper accounting treatment.
**You’ll also contribute by:**
**Vendor & Master Data Management**
+ Creating and maintaining vendor master data, including onboarding compliance requirements such as tax forms, banking validation, and payment terms.
+ Supporting vendors by resolving invoice data issues and educating them on invoicing requirements.
+ Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely invoice posting and clearing.
**Reporting, Controls & Continuous Improvement**
+ Running and analyzing reports related to invoice processing, goods movements, and three‑way match validation.
+ Supporting reconciliations for goods receipt/invoice receipt and material consumption.
+ Ensuring adherence to internal control requirements for AP processing and master data changes.
+ Identifying and implementing process efficiency improvements across invoice flow, reporting, and vendor onboarding.
**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 3 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system.
+ Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
+ Strong problem‑solving, communication, and vendor service skills.
+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience supporting Procure‑to‑Pay or Accounts Payable processes in a complex organization.
+ Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial and operational reports.
+ Process‑oriented mindset with an interest in continuous improvement.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
