The Distribution Planner is responsible for establishing supply plan for both Primary Distribution Point and Regional Distribution Point (RDP) on assigned product portfolio by working closely with the site production & materials planning team, while managing On-Time Delivery performance of the assigned lines.
This position reports to the Director, Manufacturing, and is part of the business support team located at 25 Tuas South Street 1, Singapore 638034 and will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
+ Investigate new supply orders for materials, capacity, configuration errors, and any other potential problems. Schedule build plan for production lines/assigned area. Prioritize daily COPE cases, W2W comments, and shipments to communicate with clear visibility to all stakeholders.
+ Monitor and track open order status through production, shipping, and delivery. Collaborate with QC to monitor product testing progress and coordinate with QA to expedite product release when necessary.
+ Initiates Expedite, Concurrent or Disposal custom product processes and additional customer specific testing requirements. Daily communication w/poles for order escalations.
+ In cooperation with warehouse team to schedule and release outbound shipment. Manage SCOT/OTD performance for the assigned line, including identifying potential defects and scheduling actions for improvement to ensure timely resolution and improve on-time shipment performance as well as reporting on SCOT/OTD performance to the site and global fulfilment team.
Who you are:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management (or related field) plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in distribution/operations/supply chain or order management (Or High School Diploma plus 6 years’ experience in distribution/operations/supply chain or order management).
+ Experience working in a cross functional, highly matrixed environment.
+ Proven experience with influencing others without a direct supervisory relationship.
+ Ability to communicate fluently in English & Mandarin (Chinese).
+ Proven ability to execute, multi- task and deliver on commitments.
