**Senior Test Technician**

**We are looking for** **Senior Test Technician** **. This position will be based at** **our Johnson City, TN site** **.** **This position will work daytime shift and on site.**

**You’ll make an impact by:**

+ Ensure ongoing accreditation with ISO 17025 requirements for the laboratory.

+ Plan and execute tests at project initiation and manage any issues that occur during testing

+ Provide support for and oversee the calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment

+ Ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with the client’s expectations

**You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience Laboratory environment

+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electric product development

+ Associates degree from an accredited institution

+ Required amount of travel with the position

+ Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs

+ Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

+ 3+ years’ experience of environment and PLC product experience

+ Analyze, document, and report test results within an A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory

+ Solid understanding of ISO/IEC standard

+ Understand and interpret a wide range of IEC standards related to EMC, Safety, climatic, and mechanical environments

+ Develop and perform validation strategies to ensure correct test equipment operation

+ Develop and perform functional verification testing to verify product specifications

+ Maintain communication and develop relationships with internal and external personnel

+ Participate and contribute to both internal and external audits of the quality management system

+ Support the quality management system, accreditation audits, assisting with evidence, method review, corrective actions, and updates to laboratory procedures

+ Participate in and contribute to the accreditation requirements (ISO/IEC 17025), continuous process improvements
