Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern currently in their junior year of a four-year accounting or finance degree program. This role provides hands-on exposure to core accounting and financial processes, supporting the finance team in daily operations, reporting, and analysis.
The ideal candidate will gain practical experience in financial reporting, general ledger activities, and basic financial analysis while developing a strong foundation in corporate accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist with general ledger maintenance, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
+ Support reconciliations of balance sheet accounts at month end
+ Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
+ Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
+ Support variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting
+ Prepare functional spend actuals for forecast
+ Compile financial data for management review
+ Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
+ Assist with month end or any audit preparation
+ Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
+ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Junior-level standing required
+ Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
+ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
This is a paid summer internship that will run through August 7, 2026 only.
The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $ 19/hour – $21/hour . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
