**About the Role**
As a Radiology Technologist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports accurate and timely patient care. You’ll perform standard and portable x-ray exams, fluoroscopic procedures, and surgical imaging, all while working alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Prepare for and perform standard x-ray examinations and may perform fluoroscopic procedures. Perform portable examinations and may perform surgical x-ray procedures. Utilize proper positioning and selection of appropriate technical factors using various radiographic equipment to obtain optimal results.
+ Performs x-ray examinations applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures.
+ Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self patient, and visitor. Evaluates patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.
**What You Bring**
+ Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
+ ARRT-R certification
+ Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
+ BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

_Working Conditions: This role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching and the use of fine motor skills while operating medical equipment. The ability to occasionally life and move up to 30 pounds and assist with patient handling (up to 35 pounds, with assistive devices as appropriate) is required. Regular exposure to biohazards, bodily fluids, and airborne particles is expected. Vision, hearing and communication abilities sufficient to safely perform the essential functions of the position are required._
