**Fire Sprinkler Inspectors ** perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire sprinkler systems and other water-based systems in accordance with all national and local standards. They also supply hands-on training and coaching to entry-level Inspectors. Our Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are crucial to a company’s fire safety strategy, contributing to the protection of life, property, and business operations. Their role ensures compliance, mitigates risks, and provides peace of mind to all building owners.

**As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will:**

+ Assist higher-level inspectors with testing of fire pumps, wet systems, dry systems, tamper switches, water-flow devices, and hydrants

+ Assist with inspection, testing, and service for wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire sprinkler systems; backflow preventers; water tanks; fire hydrants; foam-based systems; water mist systems; and fire pumps per NFPA 25 standards

+ Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules

+ Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed and complete service ticket documentation and inspection reports before leaving customer site. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to the required city municipality websites

+ Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections; assist with training

**You will make an impact with these qualifications:**

_Basic Qualifications:_

+ Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical and electrical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop (proficient in Microsoft Office), email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted

+ Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire

+ Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations 

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ High school diploma or state-recognized GED

+ 1+ year experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Life Safety Systems

+ Must obtain NICET Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems Level I or state certification within 12 months

+ Electro-mechanical experience (either from previous professional experience and/or education)

The pay range for this position is $33,629 – $57,650 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
