As we launch our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in **Pendergrass, Georgia** , we are excited to invite talented professionals to join our growing team. This site will support approximately 1,700 employees and specialize in Busway and Busplug manufacturing, including metal and bar fabrication, powder painting, plating, epoxy, and assembly operations. As an **Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager** , you will lead the site’s EHS strategy and programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, Siemens EHS standards, and industry best practices while supporting the successful launch, ramp-up, and long-term operation of the Pendergrass manufacturing facility.

**You will make an impact by:**

+ Leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site’s Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System.

+ Ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Siemens EHS policies and standards.

+ Driving a proactive safety culture focused on injury prevention, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

+ Developing and implementing EHS programs for manufacturing operations including fabrication, powder coating, plating, epoxy, material handling, and assembly processes.

+ Leading risk assessments, job hazard analyses, ergonomics evaluations, and safety audits to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

+ Establishing EHS performance metrics and monitoring key indicators such as recordable injuries, near misses, environmental incidents, and corrective action closure rates.

+ Leading incident investigations and root cause analysis activities, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

+ Managing environmental compliance programs, including waste management, air emissions, stormwater, hazardous materials, and chemical management.

+ Supporting facility design, equipment installation, and process implementation to ensure EHS requirements are integrated into operations.

+ Developing and delivering EHS training programs for employees, contractors, supervisors, and leadership teams.

+ Partnering with manufacturing, engineering, quality, facilities, and human resources teams to drive operational excellence and risk reduction.

+ Managing emergency preparedness, crisis response, evacuation procedures, and business continuity planning activities.

+ Supporting regulatory inspections and external audits while maintaining compliance documentation and reporting requirements.

+ Leading and developing EHS professionals and fostering a culture of accountability, safety leadership, and employee involvement.

+ Promoting sustainability initiatives that support Siemens environmental and operational goals.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.

+ 8+ years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.

+ 3+ years of leadership experience managing EHS programs and teams.

+ Experience developing and implementing EHS management systems and compliance programs.

+ Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and incident investigation methodologies.

+ Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and regulatory compliance evaluations.

+ Demonstrated success driving safety culture improvements and reducing workplace injuries and incidents.

+ Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and influencing skills with the ability to engage employees at all organizational levels.

+ Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

+ Experience supporting manufacturing start-ups, greenfield facilities, or large-scale operational expansions.

+ Experience within metal fabrication, powder coating, plating, chemical processing, assembly, or related manufacturing operations.

+ Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, ergonomics, machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and contractor safety programs.

+ Experience managing environmental permits and regulatory reporting requirements.

+ Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

+ Experience leading behavior-based safety programs and safety culture transformation initiatives.

+ Knowledge of sustainability, waste reduction, energy management, and environmental stewardship programs.

+ Experience utilizing EHS management software and data analytics tools to drive performance improvements.

**Preferred Certifications:**

+ Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

+ Associate Safety Professional (ASP)

+ Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

+ Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)

+ OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification

+ ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification

+ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
