**Transform the everyday with us!**

As a Buyer within Siemens Smart Infrastructure’s Electrical
Products (EP) business, you will help keep our Fort Worth, Texas manufacturing
operation supplied and ready to deliver reliable electrical products to
customers. Based on-site at our manufacturing facility, you will execute
purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, expedite materials, and resolve
purchasing exceptions that affect production. You will partner with the Senior
Buyer, production, planning, receiving, and supplier teams while building your
expertise in manufacturing purchasing and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

**You will make an impact by:**

+ Executingpurchase orders in SAP or other purchasing systems to maintain materialavailability for production.

+ Followingup with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery commitments,backorders, and past-due orders to protect manufacturing schedules.

+ Expeditingmaterials and coordinating pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, and reviseddelivery dates to resolve supply risks.

+ ProcessingMaterial Requirements Planning (MRP) recommendations and purchasingrequirements in alignment with established procedures and guidance fromthe Senior Buyer.

+ Communicatingmaterial shortages, supplier updates, and recovery actions to production,planning, receiving, purchasing, and supplier teams.

+ Resolvingpurchase order, receiving, and invoice discrepancies to improvetransaction accuracy and supplier payment flow.

+ Analyzingmaterial and supplier information, identifying potential risks, and takingproactive action to support production continuity and customer delivery.

**You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Minimumone year of direct purchasing, buying, or materials coordinationexperience, including placing and managing purchase orders.

+ Experiencefollowing up with suppliers, tracking delivery commitments, expeditingorders, or resolving purchase order issues.

+ Experienceusing a purchasing, inventory, enterprise resource planning, or MaterialRequirements Planning (MRP) system.

+ Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, for purchasinganalysis, reporting, and data management.

+ Abilityto analyze material information, identify supply risks, and communicateeffective recovery actions.

+ Demonstratedinitiative, urgency, adaptability, and problem-solving ability in afast-paced operational environment.

+ Abilityand willingness to work on-site at the Siemens Smart Infrastructuremanufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

+ Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experiencepurchasing materials or supporting production in a manufacturingenvironment.

+ Hands-onexperience with SAP purchasing, inventory management, supplier scheduling,or MRP functionality.

+ Experiencemanaging pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, exception messages,backorders, or supplier delivery changes.

+ Experiencesupporting material availability, inventory accuracy, supplierperformance, or purchasing process improvements.

+ Experiencein a distribution environment combined with a proactive, self-motivatedapproach and the ability to adapt to manufacturing purchasing processes.

+ Bachelorof Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in supply chain management,business, operations, engineering, or a related discipline.

+ Engineeringexperience or technical knowledge related to electrical products,manufacturing processes, materials, or production operations.

+ Associationfor Supply Chain Management Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICSCSCP) or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)certification.

+ Acombination of education and directly related work experience will also beconsidered in lieu of a degree.
