The Assembly Specialist is responsible for performing complex production and assembly activities using specialized technical skills to support daily manufacturing output and product quality. This role contributes directly to meeting production targets by executing multi-assembly tasks efficiently and applying strong workmanship standards across a range of products.
The position reports to the Production Supervisor, is part of the Medical Assembly team, and is an on-site role based in Singapore.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Perform complex mechanical, electrical, and cable assembly work by following defined assembly sequences and methods to consistently achieve daily production targets, cycle times, and customer quality expectations.
+ Apply multi-skill assembly capabilities across multiple products, handling different assemblies while maintaining high workmanship standards, accurate production documentation, and organized work areas.
+ Support productivity and quality improvement efforts by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance assembly processes, workmanship standards, and overall production efficiency.
The essential requirements of the job include
+ Multiple years of hands-on production experience in a manufacturing environment, performing assembly or build activities against defined production targets and schedules.
+ Demonstrated experience performing multi-assembly work, with capability across at least three different assembly skillsets (e.g., mechanical assembly, electrical installation, cable routing).
+ Working proficiency in English to accurately follow work instructions, complete production documentation, and support daily operational communication.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Working in a multi-product or high-mix manufacturing environment, supporting different assembly builds and changing production priorities.
+ Collaborating closely with technicians, engineers, or supporting functions to resolve assembly or production-related issues.
