The job involves all aspects of the international tax department’s transfer pricing duties. The Tax Manager will lead on all aspects of transfer pricing, including documentation, price setting, audit defense (US and international), APAs, etc. The Tax Manager will also be involved in tax planning, particularly related to IP ownership. The Tax Manager will assist in Tax Compliance related to intercompany transactions and segmentation of entities’ financials. The position reports directly to the Director, Transfer Pricing. The Tax Manager will be involved with both high-level strategic planning for the Company as well as detailed analysis as needed.

**Job Responsibilities:**

**Provide support to the Director, Transfer Pricing, in the following areas:**

+ **Transfer Pricing:**

+ Critical contribution to the annual transfer price documentation process, including US and local transfer price studies and contemporaneous documentation.

+ Assist in the annual transfer price setting process for all intercompany transactions.

+ Research, analyze and manage transfer pricing developments worldwide, including latest OECD guidelines, country by country reporting, local file requirements, etc., ensuring consistency with Corporate Global transfer price policy.

+ Monitor affiliate results and propose and execute transfer pricing adjustments where needed, including analyzing and documenting FIN48 positions.

+ Assist on all advance price agreements, including compliance with Annual Reports, managing all information requests and meeting with tax authorities.

+ **Tax Planning:**

+ Assist where appropriate on various tax planning projects.

+ Support modeling and tax research on special tax projects as required.

+ Oversee tax holiday commitment and compliance where necessary.

+ Tax Return Compliance, utilizing compliance software where possible:

+ Assist in the development and monitoring of segmented financials to forecast and then test Subpart F and arm’s length results of those segments.

+ Critical contributor to the process of gathering data and synthesizing inter-company transactions for US income tax compliance reporting.

+ **Tax Authority Examinations:** support as necessary for US and international examinations.

+ Other tax admin duties as assigned.

+ The responsibilities above involve managing and leading internal and external resources in fulfilling the objectives.





+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA/MST/CPA preferred.

+ Minimum 8 years’ experience with BA or 6 years with MBA/MST; significant corporate income tax experience preferred.

+ Knowledge of US tax laws and tax principles, including transfer pricing rules and regulations.

+ Functional experience with ERP systems and reports preferred, especially JD Edwards, Oracle HFM. Some exposure to data management and analytic tools preferred.

+ High proficiency in Excel and proficiency in PowerPoint, Access and Word.

+ Excellent written and verbal skills, including persuasion.

+ Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to form professional

+ relationships/partnerships across business units/regions, etc. and with outside consultants.

+ Strong people and exceptional project management skills.
