What you’ll do
As a member of a multidisciplinary project team you will contribute to the design, development, programming, verification, and delivery of process automation systems for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
+ Interface with lead automation engineer and project manager to understand requirements
+ Drafting of detail automation design documents to ensure alignment with agreed technical approach and Functional Specifications
+ Program new functions and modify existing solutions to ensure requirements are met with high quality
+ Execution of software verification testing documents to ensure code meets design documents
+ Perform documentation updates within the established quality systems
+ Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities
Who you are
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major
+ 0-2 years of process automation experience
+ Experience developing hardware and software solutions for industrial and/or embedded control applications
+ Knowledge of object orientated languages (e.g. C++, C#, Python)
+ Basic knowledge of communications networking (e.g. Ethernet, Profibus)
+ Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD programs
+ Experience with software version control tools
+ Ability to analyze and solve problems
+ Excellent cross-functional teamwork, and coordination skills
+ Effective oral and written communication skills
Exceptional candidates also have:
+ Experience in the programming of Rockwell and/or Emerson PLC/DCS systems
+ Experience with stage gate engineering design processes
+ Basic knowledge of UL/IEC/NFPA standards and how they apply to designs
+ Basic knowledge of governing regulations, specifically 21 CFR part 11 and Eudralex Volume 4 Annex 11
+ Global project experience
