Description

**The position will report to the AVP Corporate Finance and will be a member of Amgen’s Global Finance Leadership Team.**

**Key responsibilities:**

+ Independently leading and managing a centralized local FP&A team that will be responsible for several key planning activities within the forecasting cycle

+ Driving and identifying new procedures/processes or modifying existing ones which lead to improved cost effectiveness and/or appropriate quality, compliance, and standardization levels

+ Implement standard reporting and consistent delivery across functions

+ Developing and implementing schedules, objectives, and goals

+ Partnering with Executive Directors and Directors in Finance (FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, etc.) to support the strategic directions of the business

+ Implementing new technology and artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, productivity and/or delivery

+ Managing a centralized Anaplan forecasting process for outside expenses

+ Provide strategic analysis and interpretation of the financial results

+ Training and implementation of finance policies and procedures
