The Director of Business Continuity is responsible for implementing Danaher’s Business Continuity program and management system on a global basis. This key global role assesses business risks and ensures via strong management systems that Danaher can continue critical operations during and after a disruptive event, such as a natural disaster, cyberattacks, critical supplier disruptions, and other adverse incidents with minimal impact to quality and on-time delivery. This role partners with the IT, Operations, Finance, HR, Legal and Procurement functions in assessing continuity risk and completing and reviewing business impact assessments and business continuity plans for the critical functions and sites.

This position reports to Danaher’s Sr. Director of EHS Global Programs and is part of the Environmental, Health & Safety function and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead the implementation of the Danaher global Business Continuity Management System

+ Develop a BIA and BCP for Danaher’s critical functions in Corporate

+ Lead the development and execution of Danaher’s Crisis Management Plan

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Undergraduate degree

+ Certified Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) Professional

+ 5 years’ experience in implementing an ISO-based business continuity management system for an operating company or major business unit

+ Experience developing BIA’s, BCPs, risk tolerance criteria, risk registries, and management of BCMS related data.

+ Crisis Management leadership and facilitation experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Ability to travel to DHR locations as needed (25-30%)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Understanding of IT systems and tools that support the business continuity system

+ BCMS auditing experience

The annual salary range for this role is $165,000-$185,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
