The intern role is a key support towards Cytiva’s current product manufacturing and facility expansion efforts here in Logan, Utah. You will work with various EHS personnel and production, logistics, and engineering teams and departments. Your internship experience will include learning professional skills, business acumen, receiving feedback, and key networking opportunities. Your work will contribute to the facility following US OSHA and ISO environmental and regulatory standards designed to provide safe, quality products that help save lives.
What you’ll do:
+ Summer Internship 2026 (May-Aug)
+ Work closely and in coordination with the site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Director & Industrial Hygiene/Occupation Health Supervisor to learn and understand the role of an EHS Specialist in a production setting.
+ Working with the site IH/OH Supervisor, assist in updating the site IH programs as well as the development of the site risk assessments (4E-HC) and the annual sampling plan.
+ Based on the site annual sampling plan, conduct IH monitoring to determine associates’ occupational exposures. Document monitoring results, develop reports, communicate with Value Stream (production area) owners and associates, etc.
+ Complete other IH or safety related projects or tasks as assigned by EHS Director or IH/OH supervisor
Who you are:
+ Currently enrolled in a college-based program in occupational health and safety or other related field, seeking an internship opportunity.
+ Ability to work independently once direction is provided and work in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment.
+ Basic understanding of safety and IH principles and/or use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
+ Excellent analytical skills, verbal and written communication
