Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer will provide a high level of service to customers on the installation, repair, service, maintenance, or enhancement of hardware and/or software of Breast Products (level 1) and Densitometry products (level 2). Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 6 Specialists that together will improve the excellence and quality of the technical support provided to our Customers.


+ Install equipment’s at customer sites

+ Provide equipment’s overview training to customers after an installation (post-sales)

+ Coordinate and align with Clinical Applications the installation and training for new equipment’s

+ Provide emergency service and repairs and Preventative Maintenance as requested by customers.

+ Liaising with customer IT departments and assisting with information systems installations and troubleshooting

+ Maintenance and accuracy of assigned inventory

+ Special assignments and administrative duties as directed by Field Service Manager or designate

+ Communicate and document customer feedback to Field Service Manager and/or appropriate departments

+ Identify opportunities to increase the maintenance agreements with customers and elevate “Service” excellence and customer satisfaction

+ Routinely complete administrative paperwork, such as but not limited to: Time Reports, Expense Reports, Equipment Site Assessments, Inventory Reports, Internal Laboratory Reports, Equipment Checklists and Field Service Reports


+ Technical proficiency servicing instruments in thefield, and a general knowledge of corporate related processes and disciplines

+ Ability to accurately diagnose issues as describedover the phone by Field Service Engineers/customers

+ Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical, electronicand mechanical systems.

+ Strong interpersonal skills / Customer Oriented

+ Effective Time Management Skills

+ Communication skills

+ Proficient use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel,Outlook)

+ Working knowledge of various troubleshooting/analysistools (Macros, Data Acquisition, etc.)

+ Proficient use of diagnostic instrumentation andequipment such as Mammographers, DVMs, Oscilloscopes, Micrometers, etc.
