The Finance Manager is a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional who will support the Finance Controller and contribute to the financial health and strategic direction of the organization. This on-site role is part of the Finance and Accounting team based in our Seoul office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Support the Finance Controller in overseeing financial operations and driving strategic financial initiatives.

+ Manage daily accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, Inventory, Payroll, and HR support follow-up for Leica Biosystems, ensuring full compliance with DHR/Leica accounting policies and local statutory and tax requirements.

+ Perform financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support informed business decisions.

+ Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring alignment with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

+ Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting, providing timely insights and support for special projects and management requests.

The essential requirements of the job include

+ Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within multinational or matrixed organizations.

+ Holds a CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification, or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Proven hands-on experience with SAP (especially FI/CO modules) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global business environment.

+ Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure while ensuring full compliance with local statutory, tax regulations, and corporate accounting policies (e.g., DHR/Leica standards).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Driving process improvement initiatives such as automation, digital transformation, or lean finance projects
