**Financial Analyst**
The Financial Analyst position provides a unique opportunity to engage on various financial and operational topics within Supply Chain Management for the Products business in Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Buildings. This position will contribute to meaningful business decisions through analysis, collaboration, and communication with key business stakeholders.
The Fianacial analyst role is located in Buffalo Gove. IL and operates within a hybrid work model. This position can operate as a remote position for a viable Siemens employee.

**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Assist in preparation of annual budget, forecast, and analyze actual results to plan and prior performance
+ Assist in monthly, yearly, and quarterly close activities (journal entries, financial reports, etc.)
+ Manage inventory reporting, including inventory reserves, audit requests, and ad hoc analysis
+ Calculating and reporting on productivity measures and other KPIs
+ Support implementation and maintenance of product standard costing
+ Support monthly cost center reviews with department heads to manage department costs
+ Support on-going productivity programs to drive improved performance (automation, AI, process optimization)
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
+ 3 plus years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting for a level 8 – (Salary Range: $61,547-$105,509)
+ 5 plus years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting for a level 7 – (Salary Range: $74,970-128,520)

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Advanced Microsoft Office and SAP skills
+ Data analytics experience with large datasets and storytelling
+ Familiarity with Power BI & automation tools (Tableau, Microsoft BI, Qlik, Alteryx) preferred
+ Strong verbal and written communication abilities
