**Grad Intern – R&D (Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling and Simulation)**

**Live**

**This could be your everyday**

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. Amgen’s 10 – 12 week internship program offers meaningful project experiences that impact patient’s lives. This internship provides the opportunity for executive and social networking events while providing a competitive compensation.

The clinical pharmacology, modeling and simulation department at Amgen is a multidisciplinary group working across multiple stages of drug development. The selected candidate will develop a new machine learning (ML) based method to evaluate causal exposure-response (E-R) relationships for efficacy and/or safety. It would reduce the chance of misinterpretation of the E-R relationships and provide better decision making in dose selection. The Grad Intern will:

+ Build conceptual models with synthetic datasets to provide proof of concepts

+ Apply the model to dataset and evaluate the model including visualization

+ Provide presentation at a conference and/or write a manuscript for publication
