**Job Summary:**

Working with the Business Analytics and Insights (BAI) group within the larger Global Marketing team in the Diagnostics Solutions (DxS) business unit. Help to inform, influence and shape the strategic direction of multiple Hologic product lines and development programs. Provide quantitative marketing support to all on-market and contemplated new business lines within the DxS business segment. Assist in developing and maintaining mid- to long-term financial models across the DxS business using appropriate forecasting methodologies. Assist in the development of materials for the annual strategic planning process as well as on an ad-hoc basis with the analysis of potential organic and inorganic growth opportunities. Provide competitive intelligence, market sizing, segmentation, targeting, and positioning in conjunction with other departments to help support new product strategies, as articulated through the use of business cases, business reviews, and presentations to senior leadership.

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

+ Contribute to the team’s effectiveness in providing the DxS stakeholders with the analytics & insights needed to make well rounded, cross-functional decisions and execute on the division’s growth initiatives.

+ **Support the BAI team on the following activities:**

+ Capture and summary of secondary market research including third-party syndicated reports, Wall Street analyst reports, and industry and competitor news

+ Quarterly updates, creation, and dissemination of product forecasts and supporting materials

+ Deep-dive analyses of industry, competitor, and company trends using a combination of internal and third party data

+ Management and aggregation of world-wide analytics data including product forecasts

+ Additional support in Integrated Business Planning and Price functions, as needed

+ Alignment of common analysis work and knowledge-share across the broader, global Hologic business

+ Partnership across DxS stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Project Management, Business Development, etc.)

+ **Specific responsibilities include:**

+ Manage an existing SharePoint portal that is used to house all important Marketing Sciences materials and provides a one-stop resource for internal customers (e.g. Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Executive Team, etc.)

+ Manage third party databases and other recurring data trackers

+ Additional ad hoc projects from other DxS stakeholders from time to time

+ Perform other related duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail

+ Proven ability to derive findings and recommendations from quantitative analyses and communicate effectively to senior leadership

+ Ability to work effectively with colleagues, build trust and consensus, and influence the actions of others
