The POC-IT Project Manager is responsible for implementation, customer training and post implementation technical support, monitoring system performance, responding to service requests, as well as performing software updates.

This position reports to the Site Leader and is part of the POC-IT Department l ocated in Warsaw working remotely to cover medical facilities in Central-Eastern Poland.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Implement middleware systems (AQURE) in hospital environments, including installation, configuration, and software testing on client servers.

+ Integrate middleware systems with HIS/LIS, collaborating with IT system providers to ensure seamless data exchange and coordinating with hospital IT departments (IRT) – defining technical requirements, planning implementation schedules, and resolving integration issues.

+ Deliver training for laboratory staff and POCT teams, including conducting technical and user training sessions and preparing educational materials.

+ Maintain and supervise IT software within the existing installation base.

+ Provide post-implementation technical support, including system monitoring, handling service requests, and performing software updates.

The essential requirements of the job include:

+ Higher education in technical fields (IT, electronics, medical physics, biomedical engineering, or related).

+ Experience working with IT systems in healthcare (HIS, LIS, middleware) – preferred.

+ Knowledge of communication standards such as HL7, ASTM, and POC1A.

+ Understanding of networking, server environments, and databases (e.g., SQL, Windows Server, Reporting Services). Basic knowledge of MIRTH is a plus.

+ Proficiency in English sufficient for working with technical documentation and handling service requests with the global support team.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Ability to travel – at least 40% travel, including overnight stays, primarily across Central-Eastern Poland.

+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

+ Understanding of IoT/IIoT system architecture, especially in the context of medical devices is a plus.

+ Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles in healthcare environments, including data protection and patient privacy (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
