This position has
FPA responsibility for Sales Expense reporting and analysis for RTG US
Sales Organization- Pain Therapies. Provide Business Unit leaders with Sales
Expense monthly forecasts, sales performance metrics, key drivers, and variance
analysis. Develop and coordinate the
annual operating plan (AOP) with spending options and compensation models. Deliver monthly expense reporting and
analytical support for Senior Sales Leadership and regional field sales
managers. Perform certain monthly
accounting and related processes for sales related expenses in conjunction with
Controller team. Work with key
stakeholders for continuous improvement for forecasting, expense management,
systems and processes.

**A Day in the Life**

+ PerformFPA duties for direct and indirect distribution spending, includingcompensation and discretionary spending for 800+ sales employees.

+ Delivermonthly expense analysis and forecasting, including key drivers and risk andopportunities for Sr Sales Leadership, Business Unit partners and RTGleadership.

+ ProvideField Sales Cost Center Reporting including rollout of AOP budgets forfield sales and monthly performance vs. budget.

+ Develop the annual operating plan(AOP) for Sales Expense, including spending options to support strategicinitiatives.Collaborate in design of potentialcompensation models in conjunction with sales leadership and HR. Partner with functional areas tomaintain control of budgeted spend such as marketing, meetings, travel,training, awards or Presidents trip.

+ Maintainand report key cost performance metrics, attainment measures, fixed andvariable expense analysis against sales.

+ Maintain Field Expense policies,assess cost containment and standardization opportunities, implement andcommunicate as appropriate.

+ Collaboratewith Functions in highly matrixed org, such as HR, Payroll, CorporateAccounting, Marketing and IT.

+ Prepareand track monthly expense accruals and reconciliations in coordination withCorporate Accounting, Payroll and Controller functions.

+ Proactivelyidentify expense related issues and provide resolutions. Become a trustedresource to functional stakeholders.

+ Leverageinsights to make continuous improvement recommendations and implement approvedactions

+ Allother duties as assigned.

+ Travel:Less than 10%

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors degree required

+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

**Nice to Have**

+ Experience in a fastpaced high-technology environment, preferably in the medical deviceindustry.

+ Proven experience with financialplanning and reporting functions and developing financial analytics thatdeliver solid business performance.

+ Functional knowledge of compensation andsales incentive design.

+ Experience with projects that requirehigh matrix collaboration, building relationships and influence.

+ Systems experience with SAP, HyperionEnterprise, Workday, Business Objects, and modeling software.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office toolsincluding Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint
