The
Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of
energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales
channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing
into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power
distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing
technical requirements of todays and tomorrow’s power grid!

The
Siemens Project Management Office (PMO) is looking for a Project Manager (PM)
to join our team in Electrification and Automation (EA). The Electrification
& Automation business unit covers the entire spectrum for power
distribution systems and solutions as well as products for protection
technology, station automation, telecontrol technology, power quality, smart
communication and microgrids. As a PM, you will be responsible for the
successful execution of projects, from project initiation through final
closeout. You will work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent
coordination skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. The PM role
comes with ample opportunities for growth, reflective of Siemens’ mission to
empower people with a growth mindset. **Thisposition will prefer candidates willing to work hybrid in the Wendell, NC area.Relocation assistance can be discussed.**

**You’ll make an impact asyou:**

+ Direct allphases of projects from inception through completion.

+ Manage thecost, schedule, quality, and technical performance of the assignedproject(s).

+ Establishmilestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.

+ Effectivelycommunicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in atimely and clear fashion.

+ Lead anddrive multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams, includingengineering, operations, vendor management, logistics and services toensure successful project execution.

+ Provideregular updates to team, management, and PMO on work performed, plans,budget, and overall status.

+ Identifyproject problems and obtain solutions, such as allocation of resources orchanging contractual specifications.

+ ProactiveRisk identification and Mitigation.

+ Managecustomer expectations across project cycle and lead single andmulti-product medium voltage solutions projects.

+ Directdiagnostics with the ability to determine root cause and correctiveactions.

**You’ll win us over byhaving the following qualifications:**

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’sDegree from an accredited university or college

+ 3+ years ofexperience in the power distribution industry managing medium voltageportfolios.

+ 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office and specificallyMicrosoft Project

+ 1+ year ofworking with multi-disciplinary teams, including program management,services, engineering, operations, and logistics

+ Must have avalid US Driver’s License

+ Ability totravel up to 20% (domestic and international)

+ Legallyauthorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basiswithout company sponsorship.

Preferred
Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’sdegree in mechanical or electrical engineering

+ Projectmanagement or engineering internship or related work experience in Powerdistribution industry.

+ Basic knowledgeand understanding of power distribution; ability to read and understandbasic electrical drawings and customer specifications.

+ Experience in identifying andimplementing cost savings measures within project

+ Commitment to develop, drive, andmanage projects in a highly competitive market

+ Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, to present complex issues to multi-level audiencesand effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal andexternal Customers

+ Ability to interpret and reportresults to senior management as well as customer

+ Demonstrated ability in contract andchange management.

+ PMP certification as a plus

+ PMP certification is required within1 year of employment
